Hymn of the week: Victory I

This week is focused on the victory Christ won for us at the cross. We sang this in church yesterday. It was the highlight of the worship. I just love this songs focus on how Great God is and the compleatness of the work on the cross (?Full atonement!?). The weak ness that was showed in the cross only magnified Christ strength in the cross. As hebrews says:" He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD," Let us wonder at the compleatness of the cross and be greatful for the cup of wrath that God took on our behalf. Hallelujah! What a Savior!

HALLELUJAH! WHAT A SAVIOR

Man of Sorrows! what a name
For the Son of God, Who came
Ruined sinners to reclaim.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Bearing shame and scoffing rude,
In my place condemned He stood;
Sealed my pardon with His blood.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Guilty, vile, and helpless we;
Spotless Lamb of God was He;
?Full atonement!? can it be?
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

Lifted up was He to die;
?It is finished!? was His cry;
Now in Heav?n exalted high.
Hallelujah! What a Savior!

When He comes, our glorious King,
All His ransomed home to bring,
Then anew His song we?ll sing:
Hallelujah! What a Savior!
